Our Rehabilitation Therapy Program is designed for individuals and seniors who are medically stable, but have recently experienced a physical injury, resulting in the loss of one or more of the following areas: ambulation, mobility, self-care and physical function.
The most recognized form of rehabilitation therapy, our physical therapy is the treatment of illness or injury through exercise therapy. Valley House provides programs with gait training, bed mobility, wound care, restraint reduction and wheelchair positioning.
Occupational Therapy/Stroke Program
This therapy is tailored to assist patients, particularly those who have suffered a stroke, regain skills applied in daily life. Our therapists provide training in eating, dressing, housekeeping, grooming and other daily living tasks.
Our therapists work with patients to regain or strengthen their ability to speak with clarity and ease. These therapists make use of the latest technology and clinical processes to assist patients with communication and swallowing improvement.
